Use it as fragrance, not a repair
A scented freshener is not a substitute for cleaning spilled coffee, removing trash or drying a damp floor mat. Clean the source of an ordinary interior odor first. If the smell suggests fuel, exhaust or an electrical problem, address that problem instead of trying to cover it with fragrance.
Hang the freshener freely, keep it off dashboards and upholstery, and position it where it cannot obstruct your view or vehicle controls. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.
